Heather asked ... I delivered ... rofl
1. Create a new file a 6 x 6 or 8 x 8 in, 300 dpi, transparent
2. Fill with a white Layer (this lets you see your mask better)
3. Open a new layer on top of the white layer
4. Go to your brushes, select the brush you want to use
5. Set the color to black (it give me better insight)
6. Create your mask
Hint: If you change brushes to add dimension -- OPEN A NEW LAYER for that BRUSH Style.
7. Once you are done. TEST IT!
8. Hide the white background layer (click on the eye)
9. Open a new document.
10. Slide your mask into the new document.
11. Open a photo.
12. Clip to mask the photo to see how it looks.
13. Once you are satisfied with your design. Delete the hidden white layer.
14. Save as a .png file
