How do you make one part of your picture in color and the rest in B&W? Does anyone know of an easy tutorial for MAC PSE 6.0?

Hi lbcoleman!
This is how I do it.....
1. Open picture
2. Create copy of picture on a new layer
3. turn top copy to b&w
4. with top b&w copy selected use your eraser tool to erase the portion you want in color..... when you erase the b&w part of the photo the color photo underneath will come through.
Hope this helps!

I do the same thing as Rachel, but when I'm doing the edges, I make sure I use a soft brush or that harsh edge looks a little goofy.

I use the magic wand if it's a bright color, it really picks it all up easily.
